Just watched District 9 on DVD and totally fell in love with it. It’s a great “what-if” movie that acts more like a documentary that brings up a lot of real life issues without actually pointing fingers. (Not too severely, anyways.)
This bugger was nicknamed Michelangelo because of two things: one, he seems to enjoy chickenscratching pictures in the dirt and two, long story short, he got stabbed in the eye with a plastic paintbrush. I guess you could call him my D9 fancharacter.
I recently read that prawns are hermaphrodites, but it seems real derogative to call a creature that behaves more human that humans “it”. I love the mystery behind the prawns’ basically unmentioned culture. I can’t wait for District 10!
O, and I suppose this is my first piece on FA, isn't it? Well, hiya everyone! :D
