Happy Bowser Day Everyone!
Here's my contribution in celebration of one of Nintendo's best Bosses.
Similar to when I drew King K. Rool, this was a Warm-Up since Bowser has been difficult for me to draw in the past but I'm proud I was able to do a decent drawing in honor of Bowser Day.
Did You Know...
The first Bosses in worlds 1 through 7 of Super Mario Bros. are not actually Bowser, if a player is able to defeat the boss with the Fireball Power-Up the boss turns out to be an enemy in disguise. According to Takashi Tezuka (Producer and Executive Officer at Nintendo), this was originally a glitch.
Each sprite in Super Mario Bros. uses four colors (along with a transparent color) and in Bowser's castle, the black background fills in his wristbands. If the game is hacked to put Bowser in a different background, his hands are disconnected from his body.
