Yet another quick and calm landscape concept for the comic Myre. These concepts aren't that detailed but I plan to include them in true comic pages where scenes like a dragon gathering take place.
I painted this out of my head by strongly thinking of Scotland again.
I'm planning a trip to Scotland this year to collect enough references and inspiration for the rough landscapes of Myre. ^^
If anyone knows some hidden bed &breakfast places out there in teh roughest scottish highlands, tell me because I would at least want to shower once per week. Hahaha. XD
Thanks a lot for looking!
By the way, it's foggy there! I wasn't too lazy painting the background.... well yeah... perhaps yes otherwise I wouldn't have painted fog. xD

The fog adds a level of mystique that's rather appropriate given the setting. That it makes things appear paler and lighter gives it a more dreamlike aesthetic than vibrant colours would, while retaining the same level of realism that something like oversaturated colours, deep contrast or etc, would bring you away from.
In other words, I like the fog :0
