the body work is sadly badly damaged from the heat we've had here but i plan on cosmetically restoring it and i have ordered new body parts from ebay i will post pics once restoration is finished

Early plastics unfortunately seem to melt or warp at lower temperatures, and only certain kinds to. If a toy is not to badly damaged, a heat gun can be used to soften the plastic so it can be bent back into shape. I did this with a flat car from Lionel's General American Civil War train set.
