It was supposed to be a simple, easy bounty hunting job. Bag a playboy on the run and make some nice cash to get back for the next several weeks. However, fate rarely ever wants things to be simple, and never for them to be easy. After luring the mark into her little trap, the dragoness was surprised when the hound burst through the window. And after tracking and trailing the mark to the hotel room, the hound didn’t expect the bimbo to be a rival hunter.
In the ensuing scuffle, their mark made a break for freedom. Stopping him wouldn’t have been difficult… except the two kept getting in one another’s way. It was as the bounty took off in a stolen ship for a nearby station that the two finally squared off. Revolver vs. laser pistol. Arm blade vs. ice psionics. One wrong move would have led to one or both of them lying in a pool of their own blood.
But fate rarely ever wants things to be so simple.
This is a LATE b-day gift from
xehta13 which of course is based on Adamant Soul.
This time though, it isn't a character bio piece, but a scene from the story proper. Specifically the first meeting between Liena and Noxsu. Yeah... they're totally ready to kill one another. *chuckles* Bit of a departure from how you've normally seen the two right? Well I did want Adamant Soul to stand apart from Liena's Way... so not only did I tweak bits and pieces of their character... but this ain't no love at first sight situation.
Heh, I really like this image though... though that might just be because i love how jarring it is to what I've got in my submission history. Ah well, I hope ya'll like this beauty.
