you did fine! I don't think anyone will mistake him for a female lol :p From what I've seen, the place where artists usually make such a mistake is making their male characters' hips too wide. For males, the shoulders should be wider than the hips, even if only slightly so. That's the rule of thumb I learned, anyway :v
