Of course, what's a supervillain without henchmen and minions? That's where Black Rook's faithful loyal Pawns comes in! Black Rook has the ability to convert others into living rubber beings just like himself. While his methods are rather corruptive and transforming, such changes are absolutely voluntary and consenting for the subject. Those undergoing Black Rook's (and to that effect other Rubbermancer's) rubberizing have a tendency to become Pawns, minions working under Rook himself.
Pawns tend to take a lot in appearance based off their leader, taking their color scheme and species into their own as a hybrid. They possess rather minor Rubbermancy abilities that more likely than not is just focused on supporting their leader or playfully teasing themselves. Speaking of which, Pawns may tend to be rather easy to tease, not due to any mind altering effects (unless the subject was into it) but mainly because of how openly they are shown off and expressed while working under their leader. It can be a very embarrassing job to do, squeaking about helping out a hero or villain in front of everyone! But it is fun work nonetheless!
