Seems to be a sensible possibility. Peki is against someone more massive then her.

Many tactics in wrestling can also be found in boxing. If this is a boxing match, Peki falls in the one that can over whelm with better stamina, tiring what Adelgund is in power. While adelgun would be good for someone who's a quick fight, like our former broken nose kitty, someone's who into getting in close for quick successive attacks. Basically power, speed, and technique triangle. Or rock paper scissors in a case. Fun stuff! :D

Indeed. Raw violence and strength isn't enough for fighting. Sometimes you also have to have something mentally going on to overcome and overpower your enemy as well. A plan, a tactic, the like.

My guess is Peki has been holding back, either to put on a better show or possibly because she just didn't feel like giving it her all in her old "Peki the Prisoner" persona.

But may have to wait for an answer.

Man, Peki is really fast for a penguin. Very impressive. I do sense that Cookie is right about her buying for time. She is fighting someone more massive than her. It seems that she zipping around the ring around Adel until she finds the perfect time to strike, perhaps. Funny that she seems faster than Nyarai, since Nyarai is a cheetah.

Also I forgot. The action sequences the first two panels are great and dynamic. I love how how Peki's hair flows as she gracefully bends backwards to avoid being hit by Adel in the second panel.

For a flightless bird, Peki is very good at aerial combat. Look at all those jumps she adds in between slides to confuse Adelgund.

So Adelgund was the brawn and Peki is the speed. Kinda makes sense, but I wonder if tag-teams are allowed so that combo could be the most effective.
