Amusing XD sometimes its the best thing to do to know both sides to a story

I can relate to the "knows much more stuff than he should".
I also know a lot of obscure and weird facts, for example, I know how to create and run an analog TV channel (which I actually did for a while)

Woah really? That sounds really interesting what kind of tv channel did you do?

It was mostly for cartoons and movies. And it wasn't official or licensed: I just discovered that the TV cable in my parent's apartment wasn't isolated and if I transmitted an RF signal (usually from a VCR, but occasionally a DVD player or a Nintendo 64) It would cause it to appear instead of a local and bad TV channel on all apartments and even be transmitted for a few hundred meters.

So when in 2012 analog TV was killed off, I started to transmit movies, cartoons, and the occasional gameplay. My friends used to unplug the converter box and watch it.

Unfortunately, they discovered that our apartment wasn't at norm regarding magnetic interference and they isolated it, closing my "TV channel"

Oh wow I had no idea that was possible, that’s really cool you were able to do that! It’s a shame they closed it off though..

Yeah, but it was fun while it lasted. At least they closed as a side effect of the new isolation shield (which should have been installed in the '80 but the old owner was a cheapskate and refused) and not for the legal implications
