New year, new me! Rather literally, in fact!As a fair deal of you may know already, for about the past year or so I've been going through a redesign phase.I was no longer content with my previous form and sought about updating it.I wanted to create myself anew, to create something I can really be proud of.Something that I could look toward for inspiration and aspire to becoming in time.Something that was far more distinct and yet natural,something much more pure despite also having embraced a certain sort of impurity.Something more me... seeing as though the wolf I was two and a half years ago is not the same wolf that lies before you all today.I've changed in body, mind, and spirit - and it's time that change is portrayed in my ideal form.I wanted more or less a complete removal from my previous look whilst simultaneously staying true to my roots; I first created my 'sona when I was a closeted, teenage furry with my main goal in creating a character being not to duplicate or copy anybody else.Since then I've grown older, grown a bit wiser, grown my presence and identity in the fandom, and grown close to folks without whose companionship my life would be much less fulfilling.All of that said, I wanted to create a look that could last (longer than about two years as per each of my previous references) with a more mature dynamic; more musculature, more metal, more confidence, more suave, more dark.A year's worth of thinking and dreaming up ideas and concepts brought me to where and who I am today, and I really couldn't be happier with the outcome.- - - - - - - - - -But of course none of this would've been possible without the help of the artists who worked with me in making those ideas far more tangible; JeanWoof, Yeou, and Lukos-wolf when it came to the concept art,but most significantly Vallhound for bringing my final form into being with such amazing success.It was an absolute pleasure doing business with Vallhound from start to finish.He's accommodating and understanding, willing to experiment with a bit of creative freedom, professional and polite, and needless to say incredibly good at what he does.If you're considering art of just about any sort and you've got the means with which to commission a top-tier artist, I couldn't recommend Vallhound enough.- - - - - - - - - -***And a special thanks to that one astoundingly generous friend of mine that paid for half of the total commission price!
