My husbands personal blade. It is peace tied in this picture because the pin that holds the tsuba in place snapped (not uncommon, they were designed to snap. Better to break your tsuba then your blade) and needs to be replaced. His hilt has also been re-wrapped (also common as sweat and use will wear away the original wrappings) However it still has its original preserved snake skin and its original talisman. Because it is peace knotted I didnt pull the blade out, because the tsuba is really loose because of that snapped pin.
