Guess who saw the new 'Lion King' movie! Umm... it sucked! Now it didn't make me angry, but it was still very disappointed. Actually when I first saw the trailers, I already knew that this wasn't going to go over well. And I was right. But if you liked this movie... fine. But I'll stick to the original. If you missed this movie, don't worry because you missed nothing.
This isn't one of my best works, but I drew this as a last minute idea featuring some of my thoughts.
The cast from the original 'Lion King' and its sequels gathered together for the premiere of the new live-action 'Lion King' movie. After two long hours, Simba, Kovu, Mufasa, and Scar walked out... and not feeling too happy.

It wasn’t awful imo and sense this is prob one of my fav movies of all time I’ll give it some praise that it was different in terms of using stuff from the broadway play I believe in terms of songs but the jokes were to modernized for me to be like yea that’s lion king that’s what urched me the most
I don't go to the movies anyway, but no remake has ever been better than the original. (The Dumbo remake upset me upon discovering Tim Burton chose my hometown - Joplin, MO, USA - of all places, to be the birthplace of Dumbo. That's just inaccurate!)

while I haven't seen the live action Lion King I honestly don't think I need to see it, as a fan of animation I just find the principle of these live action Disney Remakes insulting. I feel like even now animation in the west is still looked on by alot of people as something that's only for children, and these live action Disney remakes really aren't helping to deter that stereotype.
Great pic, but movie wasn't bad. They went for photorealism. This the drab colors and lack of certain scenes making it to the big screen from the animated original. It's the same guy who did jungle book. He went for how animals actually move and mannerisms they use. Biggest complaint I've seen was on those two points. The color and the lack of emotional or physical movement that gave the original character. Meerkats don't hula, lions don't swing from vines. Animals don't stand up on each other's shoulders to hold a cub on top. Yes, it missed a few things to make it perfect, but aside from that it was well made and better than Dumbo or Alice. Maleficent, Aladdin, Cinderella, Christopher Robin, Lion King have been great. Mulan looks amazing as well.
