They say down in the sewers, there's a sorcerer from another land, a place further away than one could possibly conceive of. You could walk for a thousand miles, then walk a thousand more, and you would be no closer to it. Where he comes from is a mystery, but what he does is not, for the effects are seen across the land. The deposition of the mad tyrant, the installation of the next. And all the while, quietly working away underneath the city, the lost mage practices sorcery that had never belonged in this reality.
