so is this like a merger of minds, the old woman's persona still existing in some way but sort of elevated to become one with the mask spirit or whatever? Only asking because I found this line interesting in your description story, "To think I would be idiot enough to fall into the trap that easily". it seems almost as if she is referring to her falling into the mask's trap as a human or am I misreading this? just curious is all, loved the sequence and supplementary text ^^ I'm especially someone who is always in love with mental shifts/changes.
