This pic looks really awesome ^^ I love the way you have colored this pic

why thank you teaching 5th graders the secrets of colored pencils and wanted to practice using my recycled colored pencils and paper again lol. I finally figured out how to color with colored pencils about two-three years ago when I started drawing my Tygar comic so its good to practice on something I haven't drawn in a while

Oh my god, the coloring in this is just so....Eye pleasing? Its hard to think of a word for it. Wonderful! I love all the detail you put into the dragon!

thank you! I try to make my coloring look less like contrast and more soft soft transitions between light and shadow make it more attractive to the eyes I think, that's not for everyone though haha.

Beautiful! ^^ And you're a teacher? That's kewl. I'm in a program at high school that allows me to drive to a nearby elementary school and aide teachers with teaching or just help kids that are having problems. I have first graders :3

I'm student teaching at the moment lol only two more weeks left!! I still need to get the rest of my ducks in order before then in order to really graduate and get my license but I'm almost there

colored pencil is fun 2 work w/ markers and crayons.... not so much.

I can make my own crayons! Haven't tried coloring a picture with them yet lol but they're kind of addicting to make.
I didn't get colored pencils down til recently, for some reason after I painted for years, colored pencils got much easier to understand

Wow! This was surprising to see you draw something like this. Though, is it just me, or does the dragon's face kinda look like Sandboa's icon... Oh well, it's still a wondrous piece! The dragon is my favorite... I love the shades of blue! I noticed that she doesn't have scales, but I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I think she looks better how you drew her. =] She kind of looks like a water dragon of some sort from the ears and the aqua kind of complexion along with her soft features and traditional look. I love the silver headpiece though! Amethyst is nicely done too. My congratulations to you!

P.S. I hope you are successful in teaching your students how great art can be if you set your mind to it! Because you certainly have in your artwork, and it shows!

why thank you, she actually is a sort of water dragon lol, I'm working on another piece with them, the dragon still has no name, it hasn't popped out at me yet.

That's too bad... But, I hope you can continue to successfully pursue what you wanna do and blessings rain down on you! Saying goodbye is always hard, however. Just look towards the future, though. You will be in a good, set environment and will be able to teach even more children what you know!

Very true lol and its not goodbye forever, I've already been invited back the week after to help chaperon at a roller rink LOL I'm just hoping I get everything I need to done and get my licenses right away!

Very nice work. I love the shades of blue you chose. Traditional art is always very impressive to me. I'd be lost without my undo button.
