OMG he looks just like my previous dog. He was so scared of storms though, he'd find you wherever you were and get as close to you as possible and just shake. I'd feel sorry for him but it was kinda cute too. :3

That dog looks remarkably like my dog did as a puppy. Mine's almost 6 now and still adorable and marvelous. I hope your new dog is as perfect for your home as my sweet puppy has been for ours.

No Skidd was not based off this dog. Actually.. I named this dog "Skidd" out of a pun.. it's kind of sad.. an untold story.. The reason I took him at first was because my sister almost ran him over with the car. >.< She actually scrunched him and broke his leg.. but thank god she didn't keep going.

My family and I once had a Sheltie Collie named Mandy. She was 7 years old when she had developed arthritis in her lower back. It was so bad that she had to be put to sleep because it was such a struggle for her to even sit up, let alone even walk, plus she was constantly in pain. I still miss her sometimes, even though it was one and a half years ago. She was such a sweet dog, always friendly to other people and always so happy to see us whenever we got home from long trips.

I hope Skidd lives a long and happy life with you. I'm definitely sure you'll be a better owner to him than those previous negligent owners were.

And yeah, I don't understand how people can be so cruel to animals, specifically after they take up the responsibility of ownership. :/ You sound like he's going to be very happy with you though. :)
