Sketch: Embracing the Drake

Just invented a new dragon formula and decided to make myself the guinea pig. Turns out there is a little bit of a fatty side effect. Further test subjects are needed for clearer results, anyone willing to help advance my research?

Thank you!
Well, if you ever wanted another guinea pig for experiment, I can volounteer, I don’t mind testing new things ~
Alright, I will keep that in mind. I wonder what you would look like as a roo...
Also, if you ever need a test subject for that potion, I know a certain otter named Hermux~

Could I ask, how did you learn lights and shadows?
I learned light and shadows by studying a wide range of photographs and trying to replicate them in digital paintings. Studying the world around you can really help you understand how light works. But I also recommend looking up tutorials on youtube and reading art text books. They can inform you of concepts you never though existed and help you see the world differently.
My favorite book for this is: Color and Light: A Guide for the Realist Painter (Volume 2) (James Gurney Art).
On a related subject, how did you learn those free-flowing, perfect shapes your art has?
No bias at all...
