One morning at Cookie Gulch, Sheriff Marshall got a message from the nearest town known as Iron Paw Creek. The town had just inducted a new sheriff, but still needs some lessons from a expert sheriff. Marshall then soon packed up some supplies and some spare diapers, saddled up his foal, Spunky, and headed over to Iron Paw Creek.

Iron Paw Creek was a small town tucked between Cookie Gulch and the next big town, Red Eagle Valley. The town had been a ghost town since it was run by an ornery critter named Roy Slicer, an wicked rat who was good with knives. And he was a brutal killer too. If you stand too close to him, he'll carve you up like a Thanksgiving turkey. And he has keen eyesight too, tossing his mini daggers into your back if you try to run away from him. Throughout the years, Roy has killed six sheriffs, and operates the town with an iron paw (hence the name, Iron Paw Creek).

But one fateful day, Roy met his match when a young female wolf pup named Nana Lamont went out to challenge Roy for killing her great uncle who was the previous sheriff. With incredible luck, Nana managed to outwit Roy and his sharp dagger, who tried to charge into her, but Nana stepped aside and Roy slammed into a cactus. While Roy tried to get his dagger out of the cactus, Nana put him out of commission by a well timed tranquilizer dart shot.

After Roy Slicer was turned in to the town jailhouse, Nana is now the new sheriff of Iron Paw Creek. But it was mere luck that led to Roy's downfall, and she still needs some proper training. That's where Sheriff Marshall arrived at Iron Paw Creek. After congratulating Nana for capturing a brutal killer like Roy, Marshall would train Nana to be a better sheriff. But first, the two diapered sheriffs decided to pose for a photo shoot on the induction of Sheriff Nana Lamont, the new law of Iron Paw Creek.
