It had been a slow night at the county coroners office.
Which was a good thing as Dr. Peters had only two bodies to autopsy. First there was the idiot who thought it would be fun to post a video of him juggling chainsaws and the suspected spree killer who burned up in a car crash fleeing police.
As she began cutting into the wannabe you tube star Dr. peters heard the sound of movement coming from the freezer. Not so strange, bodies sometimes settle, or give off gas which only added to the creepy atmosphere of the morgue. Paying it no mind she continued her work.
But then came pounding from the inside the freezer and what sounded like the growling of a large animal.
Then from the freezer door burst a huge form. Rearing up to reveal a gruesome patchwork of hair and burned flesh the creature glared at her with hideous red eyes. With a snarl the creature stepped towards her.

“Oh great” muttered Dr. Peters. “And I thought that vampire was bad enough….”
