This is a commission.
This was an interesting one to do, they asked for my characters Gene, Zulo and Icarus trying to escape a dungeon while still stuck in their shackles and some mysterious, runed collars.
Wow...this one took a while to finish, it has been a long time since I did anything with a full backdrop and dynamic lighting. This was done with three different art programs to try and get what I was hoping to achieve, and in the end I think I'm rather happy with the final result.
Interesting that it was these three that were chosen...
I imagine that the runed collars are actually suppressing their natural abilities, which is why they haven't been able to escape out of their shackles yet.
As for who caught then...well that is a question...
Done in Paint Tool SAI (as well as SAI2 and Photoshop).

I am an eastern dragon just like those three, i have experienced many bondage situations but i never failed to escape it even once.
I imagine myself being there with those three wearing the collar,shackles and all but unlike Icarus over there, my hands were shackled behind my back and i am wearing a blindfold alongside the muzzle (like the one Icarus is wearing in the picture).
Also i am trailing behind Icarus so can he help me too if he don't mind?
