Precisely what rights are we fighting for again?

Marriage, protection from hate crimes (still not considered a hate crime to attack someone for being gay in some states), legal rights such as adoption and what not. There are many things that gays, lesbians, and trans can not do that straights can.

Eh. *Shrugs* First gotta have studies that show that kids raised in a same-sex household turn out okay, or at least less screwed up than the current state-run institutions.

Hate crimes? Got no sympathy from me there. If someone beats up on me just because I'm a straight white heterosexual male, it's not a 'hate crime'.

My cousins that were raised by lesbians have turned out to be well adjusted and functioning members of society. They are straight so the whole BS that gay parents will make gay children is void there.

I am not saying that anyone should be FORCED to perform the cerimony, especially in the cases of churches but everyone deserves the same entitlements as anyone.

Where I live, if you get beat up over the color of your skin.... white, red, yellow, or puce, it's a hate crime.
