Fren was understandably freaked out by the idea of Nao smoking. I hadn't thought about it. :D Well, they live in a very magical world, and she being a worker of magics herself, I realized the concept of cigarette-like implements that smell nice like rose petals or earl grey tea are probably commonplace. Gave me a great opportunity for some niftier lighting, too. :D so, behold my new invention -- hell, she might have invented it in her world, for all we know. magic cigarettes that don't kill you or make your breath smell bad.

i bet they even calm you down like wild lettuce or damiana leaf do.

Not sure if this one's as sad as the other one, but... :D maybe it doesn't need to be.

once again, was inspired by the song "mad world" and the fact that i have been watching a lot of investigation discovery, which can make you feel like there are so many insane murderers and psychopaths in the world that it's a small wonder how easy it is for people's brains to go off the right path. that kind of thinking can leave you feeling disquieted, so i drew a picture of nao feeling sort of pensive and sad.
