One of my favorite themes when I first started posting online was accidentally crossing into another world as a tf trigger.
My first take on this was back in 2006, with Kejital turning into a dragon through finding one of these: https://www.deviantart.com/ageaus/a.....Color-35146828
Back then I was really inspired by the rifts on the art from MTG’s Time Spiral block - creatures from different eras and dimensions were crossing into the present and causing all sorts of shenanigans, and as the image mentions, the name I picked for these came from what is still my favorite album.
