2003-2004: Nothing to see here, move along. >.>;;
2005:High School... freshman year = BORING. spent most of my class time doodling on my papers and getting scolded for it. :P Worth it. Bought my first How-To-Draw Anime book and used it whenever I could... Poor thing.
Discovered photoshop... highly under-trained
2006: Sophomore year = The-Over-Abuse-Of-Free-Tutorials year. Yeah, I can't count how many tutorials I looked over this year, but I can tell you that most of them were about line-art, anatomy, and clothing fold, but there were a few coloring tutorials as well.
Started painting in photoshop.
Also, took some of my drawings to an art portfolio review.. needless to say I was in over my head. I vowed that I would study hard by myself to learn the basics.
2007: Starting learning color theory and increased my knowledge of shading techniques. Painted more often, and started sketching even more. Bought a Caricature book and a Character Design book; they helped me out more than you can imagine.
2008: Really started focusing my attention on anatomy, poses, and design. Tried to make my art more loose; used bigger brushes when painting, paid more attention to shapes. Learned more about lighting and how it effects objects. Put what I learned to use, with some very nice results, but I could still do better.
2009: Still studying, but anatomy is practically down, lighting is easier, yet harder. Sketching more than I'd like to, but it's working out. Drew a lot more from references, and took a sketching class. Also studied limbs on their own. as they still give me trouble. BUT PROGRESS IS MADE AND I LIKE IT!! XD
2010: I SHALL LIVE ON AND PROSPER AND GET EVEN BETTE*SHOT*
