Transcendent (Black Mesa Xen OST - Joel Nielsen)

So I wanted to do a break of artfight for some days and do... Something different =0
Since the open beta of Xen of black mesa I wanted so bad to do a drawing with one of those wonderful place!
At first I wanted to draw the landscape from scratch and then... I thought that it would took me one month to do. I'm already working on a heavy drawing in background so... I think it would be a bad idea to add another one in the queue x')

So I had an idea! Compositing! So I launched black mesa and took some screenshots and then I just drew Luwfo on it!
I'm really happy of the result!

I also wanted to draw Luwfo in a HEV suit at the beginning but.... it's not his fight, so I begun to imagine another corporation where Luwfo works for and tried to design some kind of space work suit, I wanted to did this one really lightly because... I'm always pissed of by those big heavy armor where you can move like a ninja... You can notice that I chose to draw him with his new night vision eyes, I imagined them during his ref sheet conception so I thought that this place would be a great occasion to drew him with those!

I'm not sure really sure yet of how, when and why he is here... Maybe his corporation wanted to test a new type of spaceship or maybe a new generation of teleportation device? Who knows?
