So a friend had pointed me toward Earth Etermal (http://www.eartheternal.com), which is a free MMORPG with 22 different playable species, most of them pretty darn furry-- both your bog standard foxes, wolves, and felines, and some less commonly seen critters like frogs, parrots, and (hooray!) boars. This is Ernst Trufflesmiter, Tusken (boarish) warrior. Part of how EE manages to have so many playable species is that there isn't any gameplay difference between them. You also have the option of choosing a build of "normal", "athletic", or "rotund". You can see which one I chose-- we boars just look good with a little meat on our bones. :)

Build doesn't have any effect on gameplay either, by the way. It's a little odd as you'd expect a critter to trim down eventually with all that constant running around and beating on things. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. :)
