I love puffers. They have huge personalities and many times are quite playful. Fun fact: puffers are part of a group of fish that have beaks.

Puffers do indeed have a wonderful personality, they can recognize different people and objects, the 'beak' is actually a set of teeth he has to keep ground down by chewing on hard things like shells and clams (which he loves to eat) if they overgrow a specialist has to take a rotary saw and chip off the pieces that are interfering with his bite, keep them trim by offering shellfish.
These fish are known to live 20+ years under proper care IN captivity, it is speculated they live longer in the wild.
Some puffers can be trained to preform tricks in return for tasty morsels, they will eventually even let you pet them which they sometimes enjoy.
