With the initial transformation complete, the octopus monster became slow and meticulous in his handling of Bridget. He turned her this way and that, peering closely at her with huge eyes and making occasional adjustments to her body. He had been at it long enough for Bridget to calm down and even settle into her new form somewhat. It helped that the monster was some sort of uptight perfectionist. He spent what felt like fifteen minutes on her waist alone, thinning it with a tendril's squeeze, stretching it with a tug, then gently carving her back to arch more forward. None of these changes harmed Bridget and only registered as a moment of numbness and gentle pressure.
For a freaky magic kidnapping monster, it sure is careful with me, Bridgit thought, I wonder what it wants from me? And will it be done any time soon? I never knew monsters could have OCD...
The last thought wasn't born from inpatients, but discomfort. A small pain was growing in her midriff. It wasn't from the tendril around her waist holding her too tight, but something aching deep inside of her. It was almost like a cramp, like she had been curled up for too long. She wanted to get moving to relieve it, though she had no idea how. Perhaps if she stretched or moved or just wriggled a little...
Bridget made to kick her legs, but her new, long tail swept the water instead. Startled, the octopus monster utilized his tendrils to grasp her more firmly. She kicked harder and the octopus thing squeezed her hard in warning. She fell still, but only reluctantly, with the tips of her tendril arms and tail fins flexing and flicking at the water. The ache in her midriff was growing worse and she wasn't sure how much longer she could take it. The octopus creature's body was staring to warm up, and she found some comfort in pressing into it...
Not much happening in this installment, but I still had fun finishing this sketch and shading it, so I'm sharing it.
