Man, bone structures always look so weird and webby, but I suppose it's like that so blood veins and go through it.

Only through parts of it. Most of that honeycomb structure up there is where muscles attach. There's also a lot of hollow honeycomb structure INSIDE bones, to maximize strength while saving weight.
