Generally speaking, Mel., you're right. The New Millennium didn't become official until 2001. But I'm sure you'll still get complaints from people who'll believe that this decade (the 'Teens') begins with 2010, and subsequent decades will start in similar fashion. Of course, if the world comes to an end in late 2012, arguing about when a decade begins will simply become a moot issue...
BTW, Mel., the envelope (that the original artwork was drawn on) was 'snail-mailed' to "DBU" alumnus Melody Rondeau - for sending me her annual handmade calendar, with drawings of her anthropomorphic quartet of cats for each month. Needless to say, I'm going to try to get Melody to join "Fur Affinity"... and, if that doesn't work, I'll settle for having her join Facebook!
