eeyyy! I finally named the new oc! and also changed his design up a bit (and his lore)

the new lore and fine design details will be elaborated upon in his ref?? so uh keep your eyes open for that over the next.. month or two.

some quick details that won't take me down super wordy tangents include:
-his species has a name! it is Devoratanimus parvus (common name 'devorix'). also in this genus is a very closely related, but more basal species- Devoratanimus vorax. though D. vorax is extinct, in-universe much debate exists over the classification of Devoratanimus species, as parvus diverged from vorax very recently(and could theoretically still interbreed).
-Nimbus now exists in the Council Space/pardusimia ('spacebugkitties') setting. there are some issues I have to resolve with making that work,, but it does make for the most interesting story, so there's not really anywhere else to put Nimbus that'd be as entertaining. also Council Space is an existing setting, which means I don't have to worldbuild from scratch! hooray!
-there exist plans to turn Nimbus's (still somewhat vague) story into, well, a story- either in the from of literature(my most comfortable storytelling medium, actually), or a comic.
-also yes Nimbus is a hermaphrodite. not because I'm crinkly in that particular way, but because, well, its easier- internally my schemas regarding gender are really floppy and hazy, and unimportant to the point that gender is one of the last details I assign to a character. so making a character's species hermaphroditic gets a lot of that out of the way, since a hermaphroditic species wouldn't have much need for well defined concepts of gender identity.
-also fun fact, Nimbus's eyes no longer glow and are instead reflective now. rather than always glowing spookily, they only show color when the light is aimed at them correctly, and will actually appear completely dark without any well aimed light to reflect.
