For various reasons, I need to post this chapter. It is not done. I'd probably pin it at 50% of the way from draft to final version. none the less, I have to post it. It is a premature birth - in that light, please treat it with some kindness.
A small note - as of the start of chapter 3, Zoey has been at the Tower all of 10 minutes - it's why she's so confused. This makes more sense if you read chapter 2, of course - but chapter 2 is at maybe 30% ready - I'm not putting it out yet
