Pu twei? It's more someone coming out of a drop stance or Pu Bu - 仆步

That's how my school calls it. The lowest stance there is (drop down and bring your opponent face first into the ground).

What language, because none of the main wushu stances are called Pu Twei? I'm trying to figure out what you're referring to.

Do you have a reference? I tried looking it up online and no such pinyin exists that I can find.

I know nothing of martial arts and am out of my element, but I found a reference to it on page 117 of this book:

Apparently the full name is Pu Twei Yu Shen. ("Twei" is not a syllable I know from Mandarin, so I don't know where this comes from.)

And given your level of expertise in the dance is evident in both the detail of the lion, and the poses of the horse! Topics-of-interest are always so much more fun to draw. The audience can easily pick out who is knowledgeable in the details as opposed to trying to decipher the content. You hit it out of the ballpark my friend!
