I have been meaning to color this http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3098155/ for 
digiknight for a month now. I keep putting it off and decided to finish this before I color my gift to Xbuimonsama as it would be rude and unfair not to.
I decided to use Photoshop Elements 6 to color this in order to get some practice with it (plus the other art program is acting like a douche, LOL). In this instance I used the glass button filters, that I experimented with at first, to get much of the effects of the body. The inner wings used a shadow filter and part of the rope and belt used a molten gold filter. I used a plastic filter on a couple of areas as well, specifically the middle cloth area to get the look I intended. The background has three layers to get that nice and soft layered look with the highlights around. I say it turned out well. And to think I was originally going to do a flat color look. LOL. ^\/^.

Thank you very much. I am sorry for putting it off for so long. I am like Leonardo da Vinci in that I have chronic laziness. Mind you I am not saying I am as much talented or a genius as him, but he would put out much finer and more numerous works if he didn't put off so many of his commissions and works. Some of his best works are only partially painted. That is why they tend to have that parchment look to them. LOL. ^\/^.

I remember when I was a kid I had a teddy bear that I slept in bed with all the time. From a show about old toys I found out that the name teddy bear came from a time when a story got out that president Theodore Roosevelt spared a baby bear from one of his traps while he was hunting. So many housewives at the time went gushy over the story and many purchased stuffed bears (from a German toy company at the time called Boyd's Bears) for their kids for Christmas. They called it teddy bears based off of the incident. Theodore didn't like the idea though (he was a man's man and a member of high class). LOL. ^\/^.
I know. I thought the guy would be more open to the nickname since he was considered the black sheep of aristocracy at the time. For example, he camps out in the woods, in his fine suit, whereas his friends go to a fine hotel and get all things taken care of and such. LOL. ^\/^.
I am fine thank you. One of my favorite facts about Theodore was when he was vice president and McKinley was just shot and dying. It is the vice president's duty to see the president asap. At the time he was vacationing with his family in the Appalachian mountains (or on it I should say). After getting the telegram he hopped on the horse (with the wagon of supplies and sleeping) and raced down the mountain. When he got into town (far beyond the legal speed limit even by today's standards) the train was already leaving. So he raced along to catch up with the train and hopped on from his horse and hijacked the train and used his vice presidential powers to ride for free. The people on the train were absolutely stunned to see the vice president of their nation ride in such a manner and hijack the passenger train. LOL. ^\/^.
