In the second part of Cavora Glory, the Outlanders have decided to take revenge after the death of their puppet, Crooler. All those Part 5 Stands you saw, the users’ are allies with the Outlanders. But instead of focusing on the Pawns, I say we focus on the other pieces of this black chess set.
CRYSTAL CASTLE: A huge hunk of blue bricks makes up the body of Crystal Castle. It’s ability comes from its amazing power and force. Just look at dem fists. If they don’t scare you, getting punched by them will. Anything that Crystal Castle punches is sent forward in time. The amount of time between when the person was punched and when they reappear lasts about as small as half a minute to one hour. You know what, to make a long story short, it just moves people forward in time. The user is Sparacon and the Stand’s musical reference comes from the Canadian electronic group the Crystal Castles.
SHADOWS OF KNIGHT: This worm-looking monstrosity is Shadows of Knight, a Stand knows every single past location of everything. Kinda like a rival to Moody Blues (if Leone lived to see this Part). How the Stand works is that it can trace anything and anybody’s “Past Trails”, a light projection of a person’s past places in time, and follow them until they reach the present self. The Stand is also the very first RIDEABLE Stand. The user can actually sit on Stand and ride it like a horse. (That’s some Steel Ball Run stuff in the Pre-Heaven universe) Shadows of Knight’s user is Braptor and it’s music reference comes from the band Shadows of Knight.
LOST TIME BISHOP: Lost Time Bishop is another time-related Stand much like the rest so far, but instead of messing with time, it messes with time’s memory. Lost Time Bishop’s ability is to globally remove any recollection and memory of a certain event in time. Although the Stand has a D in Power and in Speed, it’s Instinct (that’s Chima’s version of Range) levels are way up there. Teamwork can be a bitch when fighting against this Stand, since everyone will have their memories removed of them strategically planning against the Stand. Lost Time Bishop’s user is Scorm and the Stand’s musical reference originates from the indie British band The Bishops and their album All Lost Time.
QUEEN OF STONE AGE: This chronologically-capacitating Stand is noteworthy in that it’s covered with the recognizable clocks from Dali’s Persistence of Memory. But this isn’t about memory like Bishop. Queen of Stone Age’s ability is to de-evolve any living being back to a previous state of evolution. For example, turning a Chiman lion back into its feral all-fours evolution. This can be especially bad when you realize that Chima’s animal tribes thrived after drinking the Chi Waters from Mount Cavora, and having a Stand that can take that away is devastating. Queen of Stone Age’s user is Lady Spinlyn and it’s music reference comes from the American rock band Queens of the Stone Age.
So we have a castle, knight, bishop and queen, all of which can control or mess with time. Who’s missing though? Are they truly the newest leader of the Outlanders? Stay tuned for the last Stand sheet to find out.
