There is improvement, yes... one problem is of course that this meme starts with a very good artist, and refinations on her work. I think the biggest improvements have, as you alluded to, are concept-related.

Which is a heckuva big deal, from being able to get a solid concept and turn it into a full-fledged and executed work of art backed up by your skill, grasp of body language, expressions, etc... so yes, I see improvement Miss Megan~

2005 to 2011 , yes

I considered a move east in 2008 but personal obligations impinged. So how was Texas other than a not so great job market?

Texas has a lot of jobs, and I got one there that paid well. It was much easier than in California. But I got homesick and moved back here.

By the bye, at the risk of sounding selfish, I'm glad you are back here. I do wish you great success where ever you are though.
