Infernape is actually one of my favourites from Gen4, oddly enough. The design of the Pokemon itself was actually fantastic. It felt just the right amount of 'detailed' you know? Kept simple, but still with just the right amount of 'badass' to it. Granted, having a flaming set of hair would probably improve any design. XD

I have to admit, I'm pretty interested to learn about Inferno in the story proper, even a little bit. The way how he acts around the family seems to show that he's pretty used to them getting up to the sort of stuff they do. If I remember correctly I believe I read he was Bridget's retainer, right? That in of itself could be an interesting story.
From his design, I can tell he probably does keep busy training, just like Bridget. From the clothes, seems like he might come from a similar background to Pika. But that's just me speculating from looks.

Design wise, you did really good on the arms! The shading of his muscles looks really nice. Helps give it that more believable look. Not bad at all!

Ah I love comments like this! There like crack, addicting crack XD so to try and answer some of these speculations without spoiling anything imma go in order:
Inferno is currently the star of Don’t Tell, a three part comic that talks about his past. He wasn’t always the calm booksmart Pokémon in the revamp version.
He was Kings retainer in the old version and Brigit’s play thing...that hasn’t changed much.
He does train, mainly upside down in his room.
He kinda does come from a similar background to Pika minus the battle tower stuff.
