One of the many pictures taken yesterday. I took several in hopes that some would come out clear...and I was quite surprised that most of them came out beautifully. I won't spam you guys though with all of them. Just a few of my more favored poses that my little buddy struck.
Bodi has been home for a while now, just over two weeks I'd estimate. Within two days of being here, he was more then happy to be handled and cuddled. He is an avid chewer, as most suns are, and anything he can destroy is just peachy with him. He is a pure goofball that loves to hang upside down, and clack his beak against the bars as he head-bobs. His cage is large and spacious, with plenty of toys to keep him happy while I am at work. As soon as I get home, have lunch and clean up, he is out of his cage and either clamouring on me, or on his custom playgym my father built.
His favorite foods so far are raisans, dried papaya, dried peas, in the shell peanuts, banana nut muffins, and apples. He is on a 50/50 pellet diet of both fruit flavored, and natural.
He's a very sweet boy, and loved by everyone in the family. He gets along quite well with our dogs, and yes, even the cats. The cats pay him no mind at all. In fact, if he decides to try and follow me as I walk away from his gym, the cats run from him rather then go after him thank heavens. That being said, when he is out of his cage, he is under constant supervision.
I just love this guy's personality. He's goofy, but sweet. When I wear my hoodies, he climbs back into the hood making little croaky giggle sounds as he proceeds to either clean my hair or chew my shirt. XD

........... I miss Elmo, my sun.....
I raised him for 10 yrs, even sneaking him to school with me in my bra sometimes. Until I moved out of my parent's house and my new room mate set the kitchen on fire. Elmo didn't make it.
Gawd he was such a goofy ball too.... *crawls off and wants to die*

You wouldn't believe how many people actually do that; just checking.
They had a funny commercial awhile ago where a woman in an exotic birds shop spoke to herself while she was doing her taxes and stuff and the birds picked up on it!
When people brought them home the birds were constantly saying stuff like "Invoice, invoice, where's that invoice!"

These little guys can be such sweet hearts!
I worked in a PetSmart several years ago for my first job and made a bunch of beginner's mistakes, hence why I'm not still working there. Instead of telling me what I was doing wrong the manager employed at that time created a bunch of bogus reasons and presented me with false evidence for things I didn't do and claimed that those were the reasons he was firing me. I walked out of the place in tears. Several months later I went in to pick up some crickets for my leopard geckos when a former coworker said that the bastard manager was fired not three weeks after he fired me.
While I worked there they had a jenday sun conyur. He was so young that he'd sit back on his lower legs with his feet curled up in front of him! When I went to take care of the all the exotics in that little room behind the cages I'd open his cage first and he'd hop/flap to my shoulder and tuck under my collar. He'd stay with me while I worked in there and went back when I left. I'll always miss that little guy...
P.s. I wish they'd let us preview these darn comments like on deviantART...
