A dog that size can eat chocolate no problem. :D

It's dangerous for real dogs because of their low relative body mass compared to humans.

It's dangerous for humans too but the amount we typically eat is well below the lethal levels, relative to our body mass.

Chocolate is actually more toxic to dogs (especially purer chocolate aka dark chocolate). not to say raisins (and grapes) aren't nearly as toxic, as they're also in the top 5 most toxic things for dogs.

grapes/raisins, onions, garlic, chocolate, avocado, xylitol (sweetener found in gum and now peanut butter), uncooked bread dough, just to name a few in no specific order.

I'm studying to be a veterinary technician, and chocolate, the more pure stuff like dark especially, is one of the most toxic to dogs
