In the lab, we do a procedure called site-directed mutagenesis. We use it to change amino acids in a protein we might be engineering while trying to figure out how it works. Of course, mix being a scientist with too much sci fi / horror such as The Thing and Resident Evil,and this comes up.

I think my inspiration for a bit of it though was a good old piece of cheese: Army of Darkness. Good Bunny. Bad Bunny. Neither bunny has a gun though.
