Sophie - "All right Calcifer, let's get cooking..."
Calcifer - "I DON'T COOK!!! I'M A SCARY AND POWERFUL FIRE DEMON!!! BLELELELELELELE-AHHHHHH!!!!"
Sophie - "How would you like a bucket of cold water in your face? Or maybe i should tell Howl about our bargain?
Calcifer - "Oh! stink-y me, I NEVER SHOULD HAVE LET HER IN HERE!!!"
Sophie - (proceeds to put the frying pan on Calcifer) So what will it be?"
Calcifer - "Oh no,no,ummmhh,nuhhhmm,..."
Sophie - "That's right, that's a good fire"
Calcifer - "Here's another curse...May all your bacon burn"
Calcifer - "I DON'T COOK!!! I'M A SCARY AND POWERFUL FIRE DEMON!!! BLELELELELELELE-AHHHHHH!!!!"

pretty close actually. because of past translations that made Myazaki less pleased he made it sure that he has to give the ok for the translations.
of course there are some liberties taken to make it translate over better for english listeners.
there is one sceene that i remember most that confused me a little.
when Sophie was sweeping up the castle she spoke to the bugs "you bug's better get out or im gonna sweep you up!" but in english she says "or im gonna bite your heads off"
ouO like... why was that changed? why would u bite bug's heads off??? there wasn't even any lip flaps to work with. xux
but i thoroughly enjoy the english versions of ghibli films. which is rare for me.
