This is a loop I made in Blender. I used Animation Nodes to make the spiral tiles and the rest were just platonic solids with wireframe modifier and an icosphere with shape keys.
It could work well as screensaver, or as part of a compillation!
I worked hard on this, and it was a learn-as-I-go type project. What's more, blender 2.8 was still in beta when I finished this, and the devs kept changing things as new daily builds came out.
I realize that the lizard is very dark, but he is only meant to be a small part of the animation as a whole. I will post a closeup in scraps.
Unfortunately I couldn't get rid of that weird flicker on the lines in the surrounding tunnel =(

yeah, and like having a separate mode for posing, with no way to edit things like shape keys in pose mode. I have to keyframe an animation and scrub through the timeline in order to check if my corrective shape key looks good throughout the arc.
