Aw heck, here's what might happen if I was ever to meet an untimely demise... which won't happen of course, because life is generally pretty good and absolutely worth living, even with its frequent stresses. But if I do eventually die, I wouldn't object to sticking around as a cute, mischievous, little ghost blob creature; as you can see in this adorable doodle made at Anthrocon, I'd hopefully still get to keep some of my ferret features, like my mask that tells other ghosts not to mess with me, or my fluffy tail that helps me better express my emotions. I could totally make it work, plus flying everywhere would be an acceptable trade-off for the smaller size.
Sadly, my spooky self looks pretty annoyed at the lack of having legs, which is obviously a problem when similar-looking blobs wanna further stand out from one another. So what's an angry ferret-ghost to do? Well, it's a bit inconvenient, but he'll have to carry his shorts around instead... with a high emphasis on inconvenient, but I suppose that's what blobs with missing limbs have to do for the sake of fashion, right? I dunno, I think he rocks the look pretty well, but what about you? A ghost version of me would still be happy, I hope... He still has hands, at least, so playing Animal Crossing for several decades could be one way to pass the eternal time.
Thanks a freaking lot to Bauble Beebz for drawing my ghostly self! He uses social media and can be found at several conventions, so definitely check him out!
