“I had no idea what to make of the phantasm that appeared before me in the depths of my dreams; dreaming was not something I was at all used to, or gave much thought to. My mind was on my work, my daily grind to, and from, one insignificant place to another as I pushed out any real imagination to keep myself focused on matters at hand. These matters were debts needing to be paid, social standing needing to be upkept, and my life nothing, but “normal”. That was my life, and I accepted it; yet, I found myself wanting more as I looked upon the curvy figure of luminescence that giggled upon a hill of a tulips, a soft breeze making both flower bulbs and the woman’s starry mane bob gracefully in the air. She could see the wonder on my face, the confusion, and it seemed to amuse her. Perhaps, it was something she was used to from those who saw her, who looked upon her white furred body tinged in the most royal of blues and lost themselves in the brilliance of her shine - no matter how subdued. My eyes were lost in those golden pools as she placed her delicate fingers over her pink lips, underneath that cute button-nose, and murmured,
“Pleasant dreams, then?”
I only nodded as I slowly approached her, the woman of light’s long, lion-like tail slowly swaying behind her like a kitten’s. She smiled gently as a pink blush came to her cheeks and gently held out a hand to me.
“Good. Everyone needs good dreams; otherwise, it’d be a very boring world, wouldn’t it?”
There was no hesitation as I took her hand in my own, and awoke with a flutter in my heart. I had no memory of a dream, other than the woman of light, but I did find out I slept for twelve hours straight. What a magnificent dream it must have been…”
