i can never remember what this is. katakana? hiragana? kanji?

this is a very basic set of things heard while shopping.

and

draconicon . . . for 10 points. what does it say, and what is the translation?

There isn't any katakana in this. Only hirigana and kanji. Katakana are the angular ones, and hirigana are the curvy ones.

Yus yus. I can't read kanji very well, but I understood. I'm yet to learn plain form and a bunch more kanji

I can read hiragana only, no kanji, so couldn't read the bottom line. But yeah, the top was Ikura desu ka? which translates as how much is it. Good writing, though the 'su' character needed a little more curve to it at the bottom.
