I am pretty good at putting on a happy face for the benefit of people I talk to and those I leave comments for on FA, but really, I'm still pretty broken up over the death of my wonderful ferret. I rescued Freya from a shelter and had her for over three years, and she was unconditionally loving. Pets aren't just property, they're family, and it upsets me whenever someone who's not an animal person doesn't "get" why anyone could be broken up over "just" an animal.

I'm almost certainly going to get more in a few weeks to keep Rikku company, since she's a little depressed. And it might help me move on too. Not going to do it before I get back from FC though... not only is it too soon but I want to be home every day for the new woozles and not gallivanting out of state for a week.
