Finally, the Kaijuly sequence begins!

As the grim thought crossed again Chet's mind, a little beep attracted his attention.
He rolled his eyes. He knew this beep: it was the collar, signifying that the communication device integrated to it was on.
That meant Blutch was going to talk to him.
"Hey Chet. How's life going?"
The rooster gave a noncommital grunt.
"Yeah, I know, you'd really love to remove that collar. That's actually why I'm calling about: the powers that be finally gave the okay!"
Chet let an incredulous but happy bawk come out.
"That wasn't easy to convince them, but I think your good conduct finally quelled their paranoia," snarked the scientist. "Still, we had to get a compromise: an alternance between both situations, we'll still have to work on the fine details..."
The rooster heard a sigh from the other side of the line.
"I'm deactivating your collar, I'll deactivate the others' once you'll be back at your normal size, one by one. I'll keep an eye through the news, since they'll probably swarm on you."
A chuckle was the answer.
"Well, enjoy!"
Another, different beep, and Chet felt the system that made the collar impossible to remove deactivate.
He didn't waste a second to remove it and throw it away.
The shrunken kaiju only had to wait a few more seconds before he started regaining his lost gigantism.
It wasn't long for him to be once again taller than houses, and while he was still smaller than skyscrapers, it wouldn't be for long...
