As Cagey said in his comment it could be potentially several hours into this endurance test or it could be just the first few minutes, though I think that it could be the latter since Jude does look like he's extremely ticklish and if he's just beginning his training. There are a lot of different areas of the feet that can be sensitive and it looks like all of them are being covered, the arches, balls of the feet, under and between the toes and even the heels and the classic methods of brush, fingers and of course feathers so I'm sure that his endurance will be thoroughly tested and he'll either manage to build up his endurance or maybe he'll be that more sensitive and all it might take is just the lightest of touches anywhere on his feet to make him break down in laughter.

I wonder if there might be some more devious methods that the machine might have in store like the use of vibration or mild electrical stimulation as other tickling methods or maybe at a certain point some more arms or tentacles might emerge and start going for the armpits, the navel or maybe even his ears?

It's possible! Lots of hidden compartments can fit in that machine, each with their own unique tool. It would be no surprise to see them striking at even more of those sensitive areas :P
