to me it reads like a dream, I mean, the way you have written it is the way I write down things which happen in my dreams, I guess, so it has that association for me, even though for the character I imagine it is not dream-like but a very physical experience. perhaps it is because it is told form a very past-tense perspective. something being remembered, rather than something being experienced.

I suppose this comment Is more about how I read than how you write, but I liked your story, it made me think various things.
