After the first settlers came to the land of Australia,
they wrote tales of the horrific screams they heard over night.
They thought they were hearing devils.

They were right.

The Tasmanian Devil, one of the iconic animals of Australia, is known to be the largest living carnivorous marsupial in the world.
Resembling giant rats and mini bears, the Tassie devils are somehow cute and cuddly, judging by their dense fur and chubby torso.

They used to live all across Australia, but are now extinct on the mainland. The only place to find wild devils is on the island state of Tasmania. Hence their name.

Gotta say I really became fond of this creature so I decided to draw one! Just too cute to forget <3

说到澳洲的动物，基本上都是袋鼠和考拉。不过这种叫“袋獾”的东西也是澳洲的标志性动物之一，并且是世上现存最大的肉食性有袋动物。
长得像个大老鼠，又像个小熊，不过浑身毛茸茸就对了！

野生的袋獾现在只能在澳洲的塔斯马尼亚岛上找到，而且濒临灭绝。
叫声不太好听……其实是难听到让最初的殖民者以为是恶魔在树林里徘徊，于是老外就称之为“塔斯马尼亚恶魔”……
但其实真的很萌的！
